A Pacific cousin of our native pohutukawa, Tahitian Sunset has delightful variegated cream foliage that provides a subtle backdrop to vivid scarlet flowers intermittently throughout the year - welcome colour through winter. As autumn cools, new foliage tips colour to pink and red, adding another colourful touch.
Something striking for the patio and near-by sheltered gardens.
Up front in garden borders and patio planters.
Sun and good drainage. Protect from all but light frost in cooler parts of Zone 9, especially when young.
Little needed, an occasional pinch or trim to tidy.
1 x 1 metre.
