Metrosideros 'Tahitian Sunset'
A Pacific cousin of our native pohutukawa, Tahitian Sunset has delightful variegated cream foliage that provides a subtle backdrop to vivid scarlet flowers intermittently throughout the year - welcome colour through winter. As autumn cools, new foliage tips colour to pink and red, adding another colourful touch.
Feature:

Something striking for the patio and near-by sheltered gardens.

Uses: Up front in garden borders and patio planters.
Position: Sun and good drainage. Protect from all but light frost in cooler parts of Zone 9, especially when young.
Care: Little needed, an occasional pinch or trim to tidy.
