Echium fastuosum
An evergreen perennial that flowers its heart out from spring to summer. It grows rapidly to form a multi-branched bush with grey-green leaves. Large, 30cm, intense blue flowers stand high above the foliage to make a brilliant garden display. Flowers intrigue up close, and the bush is fantastic viewed from afar.
Feature:

Picturesque all-summer-long, flowering, shrub-like perennial.

Uses: Gardens and patios.
Position: Sunny and well-drained.
Care: Remove spent flowers, prune lightly after flower to maintain bushiness. Will need protection from all but light frost in coller parts of Zone 9.
